New Explore Feature… Not a Fan AT ALL

I just watched my page hits on the other thingy drop to zero.  Congratulations.  Tumblr has created a way to ensure that no new people find me.  I hope it’s not simply so stupid a reason as that the editors (perhaps curators is a better term) don’t follow it.  I’m not going to follow stalk an editor in an attempt to promo posts.  That’s insincere and probably ineffectual.

I’ll just say, for an unspecified reason, that it is a *really* bad time for stats to drop.  I also think it’s winter, and that’s a *really* good time for people to bake stuff, eat stuff and feel bad about it.

I’ve written my first ever fully formulated gripe letter to the tumblr staff. It was polite.  I’m a nice girl.  I received a fabulous auto reply. It was polite.  It was read — unlike my gripe letter.

I’ll just say this; my knuckles are white.  Hands are a little shaky. I don’t dig the idea that tumblr might be screwing with my project’s potential.

That’s my other tumblr.  If you already read/follow it, thanks.  You’ve actually been insanely helpful.  If you have people you like (I do), feel free to share it with them.  It’s funny.  I bake all the stuff on it.  I eat all the stuff on it.  I tumbl in the 2nd person.  FYI, that’s difficult to do.

I’m sure I’ll feel better in the morning.  Or not.
